Terms of Service
IMPORTANT: TrustAI provides AI-assisted forensic analysis. It is NOT legal advice and does NOT constitute an attorney-client relationship. The Services are analytical tools to inform human decision-making, including work performed by licensed attorneys, CPAs, and other professionals. Engage licensed professionals for legal advice.
1. Acceptance
By creating an account or using the Services (trustailaw.com and related APIs), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 and legally capable of entering contracts. If using on behalf of an organization, you represent you have authority to bind that organization.
3. Account
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials
- You are responsible for all activity under your account
- You must notify us promptly of any suspected unauthorized access
- We may suspend or terminate accounts engaged in misuse, fraud, or violation of these Terms
4. Nature of the Service — Not Legal Advice
TrustAI performs analytical simulations of professional roles (attorneys, forensic CPAs, tax preparers, valuation experts, mediators, fiduciary auditors, and others) across trust, estate, partnership, and business dissolution disputes. The output is analysis, not advice. It does not replace:
- Licensed attorney representation
- Certified Public Accountant work product
- Appraiser valuations for regulatory or tax purposes
- Court filings, which must be signed by authorized persons
Use TrustAI output to inform conversations with your licensed professionals. Do not submit raw TrustAI output as a legal filing, tax return, or court exhibit without professional review.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree NOT to:
- Use the Services for any illegal purpose
- Upload materials you do not have rights to use
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the underlying AI models
- Circumvent security features or rate limits
- Use the Services to harass, defame, or harm another person
- Submit false information or impersonate another person
- Use outputs to practice law, accounting, or other licensed professions without proper licensure
6. Content Ownership
You retain ownership of case materials you upload. By uploading, you grant us a limited license to process, analyze, store, and display that content solely to provide the Services. We do not claim ownership of your content. We do not train AI models on your content.
7. AI Output
Analytical output generated by TrustAI is provided "as is." AI can produce errors, omit material facts, or misinterpret source documents. Always verify AI output against source materials and against the opinion of a licensed professional before relying on it. Bonis Systems LLC makes no warranty that AI output is accurate, complete, or fit for any particular purpose.
8. Knox-anchored Audit Trail
Knox records hashes of case events (case created, document ingested, analysis performed, etc.) as an immutable audit log anchored to the Bitcoin blockchain via OpenTimestamps. Knox does NOT store the content of your case materials on-chain — only cryptographic hashes. The audit trail is designed to support compliance attestation and federal audit. By using the Services you agree that Knox may record these event hashes permanently.
9. Fees and Payment
Pricing, if applicable, is set out in a separate engagement document or order form. Unless specified otherwise, demo and public-facing access is provided free of charge. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
10. Confidentiality
We maintain reasonable administrative, physical, and technical safeguards to protect case materials. See the Privacy Policy and, where applicable, the Business Associate Agreement.
